Your New Role
The Corporate Sustainability (CS) team reports directly to the Chief Risk Officer and is responsible for leading the National Corporate Sustainability agenda in relation to three pillars - environment, social responsibility and governance (ESG), including working with internal colleagues to delivery on Aware Super's 2030 Strategy.
This role will support building and delivering enterprise wide Corporate Sustainability, including ESG reporting and risk management. You will report to the Senior Manager and work closely with colleagues across the business in the execution of the CS Strategy.

• Play a critical role in the preparation of Aware Super's Annual Report and Sustainability reporting by providing frameworks, guidance, and advice
• Manage the end to end production of reports including reviewing and refining data collection
• ESG disclosures and risk management
• Sustainability and Modern Slavery reporting
• Maintain Climate Active Certification and any other projects in achieving certification
• Implement of the Emission Reduction Strategy

How do you exceed our expectations?

• The idea of being part of our growth is exciting and you want to play a pivotal role in making super simple.
• To be successful in this role, you will need to be Tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline and have more than 7 years experience in Sustainability or Corporate Responsibility fields
• You will have demonstrated experience in sustainability reporting preparation consistent with best practice, having knowledge and experience of international reporting frameworks.
• Experience with Governance Reporting, ie: annual report; modern slavery
• An ability to engage with diverse stakeholders to positively influence outcomes
• Demonstrate an understanding of complex environmental, social and governance issue
• You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
