Engineering ManagerPermanent PositionCapel Location$118k per year + Super + VehicleAbout the roleWorkPac are currently seeking an Engineering Manager for a local company in Capel.In this role you will be required to:Oversee the development and delivery of capital works programs, maintenance programs and servicearrangements for roads, paths, drainage, carparks, bridges, and other infrastructure as required.Manage the development and execution of technical strategies and plans for municipal infrastructure,
including traffic management, drainage systems, public transport, road hierarchy, and path network.Department ManagementRecommend policy changes to Director, review and maintain operational procedures to ensure the maintenance and implementation of quality documentation.Manage projects in accordance with adopted project management framework(s) and project management systems to achieve agreed outcomes.What you will needWell-developed leadership and managerial skills and experienceTertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or relevant field, or significant experience in civil constructionDemonstrated experience in project management of construction and/or civil infrastructure projectsRelevant knowledge/experience in civil design and/or constructionRelevant knowledge/experience in asset management and how it applies to Local GovernmentAbout workpacWorkPac is Australia's leading, privately owned recruitment provider to the mining, construction, engineering, light industrial and healthcare sectors.
