About the organisation:
Murray PHN (Primary Health Network) is a part of the national network of Primary Health Networks across Australia. We work closely with the primary health system to identify opportunities to improve health outcomes in our community.
Murray PHN spans the northern Victoria area from Mildura to Woodend and eastward to Wodonga including Albury NSW. Servicing this area are offices and staff located in Albury (North East), Bendigo (Central Victoria), Mildura (North West) and Shepparton (Goulburn Valley) acknowledging that our region crosses many First Nation lands.
The opportunity:
Join us as the Manager Governance, where you will be a trusted adviser to the company on Governance and Risk related matters and you will hold responsibility for corporate and regulatory compliance for Murray PHN.
In this position, you will lead our Governance, Risk and Compliance functions, ensuring our company approved governance, risk and compliance policies and processes are consistently applied across the company and routine and regular reporting is provided at the right level at the right time.
We’re seeking an individual who has:
- Formal Governance qualification/certification and related field experience with at least 10 years' experience in roles with similar responsibilities.
- Extensive experience in working with Boards and Executive and Senior Leadership teams in a similar governance or senior management role.
- Demonstrated understanding of quality and risk management principles and practices.
- Professional writing skills with an ability to produce high quality documents and briefing papers.
- Understanding of contemporary governance including Data Governance and Cybersecurity.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills with an ability to translate complex concepts across a range of audiences and communication channels.
- Leadership experience that promotes productivity, collaboration, and growth amongst direct reports

- Salary range – Grade 7 ($123,085.04 - $144,070.16 per annum) plus superannuation
