  • $135,000 plus superannuation & salary packaging

Role Purpose

This is a senior position within the overall Human Resources team and is part of an energetic Leadership team, reporting through to the General Manager of Human Resources. As a senior leader you will play a pivotal role ensuring that the operational functions of Human Resources are fit for purpose, support future growth of the organisation, are compliant, accurate and enable key stakeholders, being our staff and managers across GSANZ.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive HR information and strategic advice to managers and team members across the organization, including expert interpretation of award and collective agreement entitlements.
  • Monitor and manage the implementation of HR policies and procedures, while providing insightful performance reports when necessary.
  • Drive HR projects that align with the organization's continuous improvement goals, fostering the development of HR systems.
  • Develop and execute an exceptional induction and onboarding process that ensures an outstanding experience for prospective candidates and all GSANZ employees.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Business Partners, to provide support for enterprise bargaining and ongoing HR business improvement projects.
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive strategic workforce plan, leveraging data and people management reporting to support future organizational growth and workforce development.

About you

  • Qualification in Human Resources Management or a business management degree and other relevant tertiary qualification
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a HR and at least three (3) years working at Senior Leadership level.
  • Understanding of enterprise bargaining processes and principles and an ability to develop bargaining strategies to support negotiations and agreement development.
  • Ability to manage employee relations and resolve issues or queries with employees and/or their appointed representatives.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, and other relevant HR tools and systems.
  • Ability to influence, engage and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
