Client-side Project Manager - Large healthcare provider, initial 6-month contract position. West based. Your new company An exciting newly created role has become available with a large and highly reputable healthcare provider as the Manager of Infrastructure and Planning. This role will drive the development of the future pipeline of Capital works for healthcare facilities and infrastructure. If you have excellent interpersonal skills and work ethics together with a project management and architecture/engineering/construction background, please apply as soon as possible to be considered for this new opportunity. Take on a high level of autonomy in a large healthcare environment! Your new role In your role, you will be responsible for:
Developing the future pipeline of Capital works
Developing funding submissions
Preparing business cases, project feasibility and undertaking master-planning activities
Assisting the Capital works committee
Influencing the Project Management Framework
Engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders to support project delivery requirements
Working in consultation and collaboration with a range of stakeholders to identify issues and risks that may impact project delivery at an early stage
What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering or Building and Construction
Extensive Project Management experience with public infrastructure
Project Management experience in the healthcare or education setting - desirable
Excellent interpersonal skills, dealing with a wide range of stakeholders
Strategic and forward-thinking
Full working rights in Australia, valid Victorian drivers' license, must be comfortable with hospital-mandated vaccines
