Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) is an integrated transport infrastructure and precincts planning project that will deliver a 90km rail line linking every major train service from the Frankston Line to the Werribee Line via Melbourne Airport, as well as investment in the suburbs, better connecting Victorians to jobs, retail, education, health services and each other. Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) is the statutory body established to plan all elements of the project, procure builders, develop structure planning for SRL Precincts and oversee construction and the other changes that will help transform Melbourne and Victoria.

About the opportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Integrity Investigator to contributing to upholding the organisation’s commitment to ethical conduct and compliance. You will create awareness of a culture of integrity, compliance and ethical behaviour, conducting investigations, and ensuring consistent adherence to the Public Sector Values and the Code of Conduct for Victorian Public Sector Employees.
Reporting to the Director, Integrity and Assurance, you will play a pivotal role in:
- Leading the development and implementation of the newly created Integrity Investigations and Assurance team including scoping and planning the function and coordinating key deliverables
- Managing the Integrity Investigations and Assurance team including business planning, performance appraisals, one-to-one supervision and professional development of team members
- Leading integrity investigations including, planning, investigations, reporting and advice to senior stakeholders
- Assessing, evaluating and triaging information and intelligence that may result in administrative internal investigations
- Leading the development and implementation of integrity education, communications and training strategy
- Contributing to effective integrity processes, methods and internal governance to influence and maintain a robust integrity culture
- Supporting the development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of the organisation’s integrity framework
- Contributing to joint agency operations with oversight bodies and providing direct support to law enforcement partners in both operational and strategic contexts
- Supporting the organisation to meet fraud and corruption control requirements under the relevant Australian Standard (AS 8001:2021)
- Leading the development, implementation and monitoring of integrity detection and Assurance activities to identify and respond to instances of improper conduct and corruption
This is a permanent, full-time role. You will work in a hybrid work model with access to a range of flexible working arrangements.
