The International Directorate sits in the Student Success Division and is responsible for CQUniversity Australia's international activity. The priority focus of the operations is recruiting international students to the University, with the Directorate also responsible for several other functions including recruitment, agent governance, agency and academic partnerships, marketing and communications and campaigns, international student enquiry and admissions management, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. CQUniversity is seeking an energetic and motivated person to manage and lead the International Admissions and international compliance teams. This role has a dual focus which includes not only driving the University’s international recruitment efforts, but also ensuring the University’s operating procedures and policies are aligned to meet the relevant legislative requirements in relation to international students. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background and understanding of the International admissions functions including international education systems, student visa regulations, ESOS Act, National Code and other relevant legislations, in the context of the higher and vocational education industry and significant practical experience of working in an International Admissions role. Your background will demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate cross culturally and you will be passionate about guiding and mentoring a team in the delivering an exceptional customer experience. Whilst not mandatory, fluency in one of more languages other than English is desirable. Position Requirements
Proven knowledge of regulatory and accreditation environment surrounding Higher Education in Australia including TEQSA, AQF, ESOS Act, National Code, Student Visa regulations, admission and English language requirements policies/standards; Demonstrated experience working in customer service or university/corporate administration with experience using complex databases such as CRMs and student/financial administration systems; Demonstrated experience in leading and managing team/s in an environment with high volume workloads, with an ability to maintain high level customer service and quality outcomes.
