What you'll be doing
- The Mental Health Recovery and Rehabilitation unit is a 10 bedded residential unit that offers a day program for those being case managed or attending Suicide Prevention Outreach Team (SPOT) or SafeHaven.
- The unit provides psychosocial educational Mental Health program, primarily targeted at consumers aged between 18 – 65 years.
- Oversee all aspects of the unit environment and take overall responsibility for the standard of consumer care in the unit.
- The manager is pivotal for overseeing the running of the unit on a day-to-day basis including the group program, providing leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient use of resources.
- Work closely with the deputy Director MHDA and the Clinical Director psychiatry in the development and maintenance of providing a dedicated service to the FWLHD community.

How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible
- Tertiary qualification in health care with a minimum of 3 years' experience in leadership and management.
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience with involvement in leading and managing a diverse range of staff in a Mental Health care setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of legislation and policy requirements that govern the provision of Mental Health care.
- Proven ability to create and maintain a positive workplace culture and articulate and achieve a vision for the FWLHD Recovery and Rehabilitation unit.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure human, physical, and financial resources of the unit are managed effectively to deliver safe care.
- Demonstrated evidence of the ability to lead in an environment that prioritises contemporary Mental Health Recovery orientated practices.
- Evidence of a current class C driver's license, ability, and willingness to travel for work purposes.
