About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a dynamic Manager of Occupational Therapy to lead a highly efficient and engaged workforce of 23 clinicians service across acute, subacute and community programs.
The role provides leadership and clinical oversight as part of an integrated multidisciplinary healthcare team for people who access services at Warrnambool and Camperdown campuses. Occupational Therapy services are provided to groups and individuals of all ages and the team works collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health colleagues to provide excellent patient centred care.
This is a permanent full time (80 hours per fortnight) position with a monthly ADO.

As a qualified Occupational Therapist with extensive clinical experience, you will have an engaging and collaborative leadership style with excellent communication skills. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of contemporary Occupational Therapy practice across health, community and paediatric sectors and possess great drive and passion for growing Occupational Therapy services at SWH into the future. Your strategic and innovative leadership style will contribute to excellent service outcomes and actively contribute to broader interdisciplinary growth across the Primary and Community Services Directorate. With demonstrated high level negotiation and problem solving skills, you will work in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve best possible patient outcomes.
