Day-to-Day:
- Contribute to the overall finance strategy to achieve the company’s strategic goals.
- Implement a program of continuous improvement and operational excellence for the finance and commercial teams.
- Provide timely, accurate, and insightful performance reporting to drive business objectives and strategy.
- Lead financial governance and internal control frameworks, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, procedures, and controls across the group.
- Lead the group’s business planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, legislation, and external obligations, and measure compliance performance.
- Oversee finance business partnering to functional departments, providing high-quality financial and commercial support, analysis and recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee the delivery of the group’s (and subsidiaries) statutory financial reports.
- Manage daily cash balances, ensuring funds are effectively invested and available to meet payment obligations.
- Deliver cash management and forecasting tools for accurate insights.
- Drive simplicity and standardisation of Finance processes and reporting.
- Provide leadership to operational asset finance and commercial teams.
About You:
- You act with integrity and display a high level of care for the people you work with.
- You have a growth mindset – you’re someone who wants to drive change and can work collaboratively in teams to implement improvements.
- You’re a problem solver, analytical thinker and decision-maker.
- You’re an experienced finance leader with extensive experience in the mining or resources industry (either for a producer or services provider).
- Broad finance experience within an ASX-listed environment.
