As part of the Leadership Team, reporting to the General Manager with the support of one HR resource, your commitment to excellence, integrity, sustainability and championing a positive workplace culture will be the cornerstone of your success taking ownership of, but not limited to, the following:
- Strategic Alignment: Aligning P &C strategy and initiatives with the Company’s unique operational and strategic requirements, culture, values and business goals.
- Talent Management: Attracting, developing, and retaining top talent to meet our business and strategic needs.
- Employee Relations: Promoting positive employee relations, constructively resolving conflicts, and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally
- Compliance and Risk Management: Staying current and ensuring adherence to industry regulations, sector best practice and legislative obligations and developments, ensuring that these are reflected in company policy and procedure.
- Operations and Process Improvement: Optimization of P & C processes, systems, and reporting to enhance insight, efficiency and effectiveness and inform opportunities for continual improvement.
- Professional Development: Developing and implementing a framework/activity to provide guidance, support, and development opportunities to all employees.
- Workplace Health and Safety: Managing the company’s Return to Work and OHS frameworks, and initiatives to support and foster a safe, respectful, inclusive and diverse work environment.
- Projects: Supporting the General Manager with relevant business projects
