The Manager, Technology Finance & Analytics will provide additional analytical and managerial support to The Technology & Operations Finance team during a period of increased workload driven by the bank sale.
What you’ll do
- Support the timely and accurate close of monthly results.
- Support the development of regular expense forecasts.
- Deliver management information including insightful commentary on operating expenses, capital expenditure and FTEs in an efficient and effective manner.
- Provide proactive financial advice to the Technology & Operations teams to facilitate informed decisions.
- Manage a team of analysts and monitor their output to ensure team deliverables are achieved
- Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency of BAU activities in order to unlock further capacity during peak periods.
- Be an active member of the Finance & Advice Community, contributing to the attainment of the team’s objectives and plans.
- Work closely with the Manager, T&O & Partnering Finance with respect to all activities.
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, Accounting (or similar) (Mandatory)
- Post- graduate qualifications, (ICA) (CFA) (CPA) (desired)
- Experience in business partnering, performance management or a financial performance & analysis role
- Experience using Power BI for financial reporting and analysis
- Experience in leading and coaching a team of analysts
- Strong business knowledge with experience in a medium to large financial services organisation
- Proven ability to utilise and translate business knowledge to develop business & finance strategy
