The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) is an independent statutory authority which regulates Victoria's gambling industry. The opportunity
Reporting to the Director, Finance and Business Services, this role is responsible for ensuring compliance with Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB) policies and supports the delivery of compliant, value for money/cost effective and general procurement and contract outcomes. With a focus on operational policy guidance and oversight, the role is responsible for supporting the deployment of key procurement policies in an operational environment.
Key responsibilities
- Pro-actively engage with internal stakeholder about strategic procurement sourcing plans. Initiate and manage negotiations with peers to gain commitment to projects, and delivery of activities to meet specified timelines, including commercial negotiations.
- Manage VGCCC's supplier contracts, including expiry, renewal and compliance including supplier risk management and improved spend under contract across all procurement categories within remit.
- Contribute to procurement planning, tendering and contract formation and contract management activities, ensuring compliance with VGPB guidelines, Financial Management Act 1994 and other associated legislation, procurement policies, processes and procedures and deliver recommendations that achieve budget outcomes and value for money.
