Manager, Program Management Office

Eden Ritchie is seeking a Manager, Program Management Office to report to the Program Director and lead a program/project management support team to manage all the dependencies and status reporting across the program including the plan, scope, budget, quality, and risks of the program. The role will manage the program office processes and provide program and project management discipline advice to the Program Director and a team of project managers for the implementation of the IWFM electronic rostering solution.You will be part of the leadership team of an ICT enabled business change program, focused on enhancing workforce management capability across the Department and the Hospital and Health Services.

As the Manager, Program Management Office, your key responsibilities will include providing strategic direction and leadership for the implementation of the Integrated Workforce Management (IWFM) statewide rollout program. This program aims to deliver the electronic rostering tool to the front line. Your role will involve managing and leading the PMO to support the delivery of the IWFM program to Hospital and Health Services. This includes effectively managing integrated schedules, resources, risks, deadlines, and outcomes. You will also ensure the availability and robustness of processes and systems to support program delivery.In addition, you will provide leadership in the program and project management discipline to a team of Project Managers. These managers will be leading local projects designed to implement agency-wide improvements to workforce management solutions within required timeframes and within established Program Management frameworks. Your expertise will be crucial in providing advice on assessment, analysis, development, documentation, and implementation of program and project deliverables. This will include evaluating risks identified for the proposed implementation and leading the creation of integrated statewide implementation plans and schedules.The successful applicant will demonstrate:

• Demonstrated success in providing leadership, management and motivation to a team of project delivery professionals with a strong focus on meeting outcomes, quality client service, and customer driven culture in an environment of change, and in compliance with human resource policies.
• Proven experience in building large and complex plans and schedules to support ERP implementations and support transition.
• Advanced communication skills with demonstrated ability to provide advice, consult and negotiate with senior management and a diverse range of stakeholders on complex and strategic issues, build effective client and stakeholder relationships in an environment of change.
• Demonstrated high level program/project management skills and the ability to design and implement plans and performance reporting leading to the delivery of successful programs/projects and effective management of risk.
• Demonstrated experience managing a project/Program Management Office (PMO) including the creation and improvement of key project/program artefacts.
• Experience managing projects or working within a project and/or program environment including an excellent understanding and application of the PRINCE2 methodology and products.
