Due to internal movement, our client based in Mount Waverley is seeking a Senior Accounts Payroll Officer to assist with the full function day-to-day management of the AP duties. Reporting into the Finance Manager who will look to inspire & support you to foster long term business knowledge within a growing and thriving industry. You must be able to work in the office full time at their Mount Waverley head office. Very attractive salary on offer: $80,000 + Super.
The role:
- Process vendor invoices in a timely manner, verifying accuracy, approvals and account coding in accordance with company requirements
- Prepare payments and associated reports as required, in accordance with company schedules
- Maintain Payment Register and email remittance advices
- Prepare and maintain Direct Debit payments monthly, or as required
- Update suppliers master data including contact details, bank details, address etc
- Enter and reconcile payments to accounting software for main bank account
- Respond to vendor inquiries as required
- Processing subcontractor invoices and raising purchase orders including printing of invoices
- Efficiently managing and maintaining the filing system including prepayment and post payment documentation
- Complete account application for credit
- Co-operate with management in its fulfilment of its legislative obligations
- Assist as a back up to Payroll processing in the instance of leave.
