Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee the safe execution of Repair Centre product and service offerings, lead the growth of new products and services and optimise overall performance.Being passionate about people and their development, one of your key responsibilities will be to continue to build the culture, diversity and capability of the team. You will guide your teams to embed improvement into the way we work - every day, empower ownership across all organisational levels and ensure that work is aligned to business-critical success factors and value delivery.In this role, you will cultivate strong relationships through effective communication and consultation, and shape the culture to ensure a safe, productive, quality, innovative and disciplined approach to work.The Manager Repair Centre (Mackay) will successfully achieve the following:

  • Build an engaged, inclusive and diverse team and culture, where everyone is motivated to perform and given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
  • Lead Repair Centre operational growth through the efficient and effective volume delivery of component, module and equipment overhauls and rebuilds.
  • Continuously strive to innovate and improve productivity through embedding the standards, processes and systems of the BHP Operating System.
  • Collaboratively work with Operations, Materials Management, Warehousing and Logistics to ensure system level improvement, waste elimination and optimised utilisation of BHP owned rotable inventory.
