Manager Reporting

The Manager Reporting will manage the accounting and reporting functions of the business and develop and manage business performance targets, including financial budgeting.
Responsibilities:
Performance management, including budget preparation.
Business forecasts, including financial statements forecast.
Management of asset register, including recording and tracking of assets.
Preparation of management reports, including board reports.
Preparation of reports for external stakeholders, including government authorities.
Preparation of statutory reporting, including management of external audit.
Guide development of reporting mechanisms to capture new business measures.
Monitor and direct activities of staff reporting to the position.
Development of staff reporting to the position
Undertake other duties as reasonably directed, which are within the incumbent’s training, skills and abilities.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business or related discipline (essential)
Current membership professional accounting body holding status of CPA or ICAA (essential)
Knowledge
Advanced understanding of accounting standards and other practices that meet statutory requirements.
Budgeting and performance management.
Understanding of financial services and product offerings (desirable)
Undertaking project evaluation and analysis, interpreting results, preparing reports.
Working knowledge of general office software and systems, such as Word.
Experience
At least 5 years of experience post qualification, preferably in a management position.
Staff management experience.
KPI's:
Delivery of management and financial reports in accordance with agreed timeframes.
Meeting agreed performance standard and high accuracy.
Relevant manuals and policies are developed and maintained.
Adherence to any health & safety requirements.
Staff member has positively contributed to risk and compliance framework through enhancement / risk process.
