Job description
Our client is a small but strong organisation, that is seeking a motivated Payroll Professional to assist them for a minimum 3 month term, on a temporary basis. This individual will enjoy delivering a timely and accurate payroll service. The right candidate will have experience performing the full E2E function, as well as higher duties such as reporting, Superannuation and Payroll Tax. About the position
In the position of Payroll officer, your main responsibilities will be:
End-to-End payroll processing in accordance with policies and procedures
Senior processing duties including Payroll Tax and Superannuation duties
Maintaining accurate Masterfile details
Calculating and processing pro-rata entitlements
Validate data entry and payroll reporting
Maintaining the integrity and confidence of employee and company data
Working with various stakeholders to resolve queries and provide payroll support
To be successful
The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, be service minded with great communication skills and independently seek solutions to problems that might appear. Experience with Employment Hero and Chris21 will be highly regarded.
Experiences and Qualifications:
The qualifications required for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline e.g. Payroll, Finance, Accounting (desirable)
Experience with using enterprise packages and payroll software, particularly; Employment Hero, Chris21 and Xero
Experience with NZ payroll is highly desirable
Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
