About the position
Driven by our desire to meet the growing challenges facing the higher education sector and create genuine impact for UOW, we’ve begun to overhaul and recalibrate our marketing, engagement and communications efforts.
We’re on the hunt for a strategic, self-starter to help us manage and deliver a series of core business and Strategic Projects to help us deliver on our vision to be a leader in engagement, communications, marketing, and advancement.
As a senior leader in our Advancement and Communications Division, you’ll provide strategic leadership and management of the division’s project portfolio, while working collaboratively with colleagues in the division and strengthening working relationships with the faculties and executive portfolios.
In this role you’ll be reporting to our new Chief Communications and Advancement Officer who is passionate about building a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.

About the team
The Advancement and Communications Division is a central service team that has come together from across the university to provide a best-practise marketing, communications and philanthropy service for our internal and external stakeholders. We’re going through a whole heap of work to make sure we’re the best we can be and delivering best practise work for our internal and external audiences.
