Fixed Term Temporary Full-time position up to 24/12/2024.
Remuneration package of up to $13,476 p.m., comprising base salary range of $5062.30 - $5432.80 p.f. (AO7), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

About the role
- Lead research and horizon scanning activities to inform the development of organisational strategy.
- Analyse a broad range of data to identify current issues and future priorities for the health service, including demographic, socioeconomic, public health, clinical activity, financial, and human resources data, ensuring that analysis is as robust and accurate as possible.
- Undertake formal reviews of complex business and service models, processes and practices across the organisation and make independent, authoritative recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills and experience
- Track record of successfully managing projects within a large and complex organisation.
- Expert knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire expert knowledge of, contemporary best practice health service delivery, the health system, the drivers of reform, and the policy levers of Queensland Health.
- Superior research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated track record of using these skills to interrogate organisational factors and provide advice to executive management on potential solutions.
- Strong written communication skills and the demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality briefings, reports, and project documentation for executive decision-makers.
Role requirements
While not mandatory a relevant tertiary qualification in business, health service management or a related discipline would be highly regarded.
