Manager, VET Course Programs and Quality
Australian Ideal College (AIC) is an established registered training provider offering a diverse range of high-quality vocational education and training in the fields of accounting, business administration, leadership and management, hospitality, travel and tourism, community services and NAATI endorsed qualifications in Sydney, Hobart and Adelaide. We are currently seeking an experienced VET Course Programs and Quality Manager to join our team based in Sydney campus.
About the role
The role leads a team of trainers delivering courses ranging from Cert III, Cert IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma to Graduate Diploma.
The role is responsible for ensuring that AIC’s learning resources are compliant with all relevant regulations, and to implement strategies to provide students with an exceptional, engaging learning experience.
The role is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the VET division and developing key business strategies to take AIC to the next level.
In this role you will
- Work professionally and collegially in close partnership with the trainers and staff of each campus to ensure the effectiveness of operations
- Undertake supervisory management of trainers via performance management, performance reviews and professional development
- Be responsible for AIC’s RTO status and ensure compliance with all applicable registering regulation statutory and/or governing bodies
- Manage and ensure successful course registration, accreditation and scope additions
- Ensure the College delivers industry-leading & high qualify vocational programs
- Manage course resources and schedules for delivery
- Monitor student progress and implement interventions to support student success and retention
- Lead and participate in regular assessment validation and moderation
- Be responsible for internal and external audit preparation and facilitation
- Ensure that AIC is providing adequate student academic support
- Represent AIC at VET industry functions, seminars and conferences as required
- Travel to interstate campuses on a regular basis to spend time with local teams.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous management experience working in the VET sector
- Strong understanding of RTO Standards 2015 & National Code 2018
- Skills in business development, problem solving, and process improvement, with prior experience developing and rolling out new business strategies
- Technical skills and knowledge of Microsoft 365 office, RTO Manager and the Moodle learning management system.
- Demonstrated knowledge in quality assurance and control in the VET sector
- Demonstrated experience developing operational plans and strategies
- Possession of TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or higher
