About the Role
We are looking for a people person with a passion for the natural environment and the ability to work across the organisation to:
- Provide strategic advice to support Council’s ambition of maintaining a healthy, resilient and thriving natural environment.
- Enable a long term view of project delivery and thinking particularly with relevance to decisions for Manningham’s ‘Green Wedge.’
- Review and develop policies and plans to ensure the continued caring for Country approach and mindset applied at Manningham.
Skills and Experience
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work at both a strategic and operational level.
- Ability to supervise casual staff, contractors and consultants, as required.
- Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders and influence positive outcomes for the natural environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated ability to prepare concise and accurate reports.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a diverse and dynamic team.
