Job Summary
We are looking for an exceptional Manufacturing Excellence Specialist (Tatura - 12 Month Contract) who will design and deliver Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS) and digital programs that align with the site Factory Master Plan.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment of the Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS) with site and Business Unit (BU) objectives to improve balanced scorecard metrics.
- Analyse processes to identify issues and opportunities, recommending improvements through data modelling and best practice methodologies.
- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to:
- Standardize and streamline processes.
- Support business goals.
- Develop organizational capability in Focused Improvement and Run to Standard (R2S) Process Engineering.
- Coach and train stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain the integrated site scorecard reporting system.
- Provide technical support for process concerns, including root cause analyses (RCA), safety, and quality investigations.
- Be a change agent that promotes agility, passion and drive whilst leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support Operational Line Efficiency (OLE) targets through digital implementation and accurate loss tree reporting.
- Drive digital solutions across the Tatura site (including BuildApp modules).
- Assist site leadership in strategic planning, including Site Master Plans, UMS deployment, and digital roadmaps.
- Complete UMS deployment objectives in alignment with the site masterplan.
- Develop site operations team capabilities in UMS tools and methodologies.

- Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering (or related discipline)
- Experience in process engineering and digital platforms
- Experience working and leading Continuous improvement initiatives such as six sigma, etc.
- Project management skills
- FMCG experience
- Leadership & Stakeholder management skills
- Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Training & coaching skills
Desirable:
- Excel, PowerBi experience
