- Determination of manufacturing process capability and identification of line constraints to improve business unit profitability.
- Develop, own and ensure execution of the manufacturing Continuous Improvement plan.
- Plan, direct and control the end-to-end operations within the packaging department.
- Ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness through compliance with all relevant Environment, Health and Safety, Quality standards and policies as well as applicable Legal requirements.
- Improve organisation effectiveness through the development and deployment of solutions to improve productivity and drive a performance culture.
- Lead implementation and embedding of Asahi Way
- Accountable for the capability uplift of direct leadership team with a strong focus on mentoring, coaching and performance feedback
- Degree qualifications in Management, Food Technology, Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 - 7 years' leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG.
- A demonstrated achievement of continuous improvement & change management in a traditional manufacturing environment.
- Intimate knowledge of ISO and / or Safety management systems in their application in an FMCG environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of GMP/HACCP and GFSI compliance standards.
- Budget preparation and P&L management in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with other continuous improvement programs e.g. Lean, Six Sigma.
- Strong communication and Relationship Management (negotiation and influencing) skills, particularly within a unionised environment
- Strong understanding of WHS legislative obligations
- Strong conflict resolution and performance management experience
