The Pro9 walling system has been developed in our European R&D facility and we have partnered with an Australian residential developer to produce our innovative and high-performance insulated walling system for the Australian market. Our Tuggerah manufacturing base will commence production in April 2024.

About the Manufacturing Operator Role
The CNC Operators are responsible for the efficient and effective operation of CNC Howick machinery to produce high-quality steel stud framework that meets engineering specifications and manufacturing schedule. The CNC Operator will accomplish this through the set-up of work fixtures, tools and workpieces according to setup sheets and monitoring the machining process to ensure parts are manufactured to the required specification. The CNC Operator must also perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the machines to ensure optimal functioning.
The Role
- Operate Howick CNC mills and other metal working equipment as required according to documented procedures
- Set up fixtures and workpieces accurately and efficiently
- Set up tools, electrodes and holders with precision
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as necessary
- Use precision measuring tools to verify the quality of machined parts
- Provide feedback and input on manufacturing requirements
- Verify quality of machined parts according to specification
- Assist in continuous improvement projects by evaluating processes and make recommendations to improve productivity, quality & cost
- Perform and document pre-delivery inspection processes
- Ongoing compliance with Pro9 Australia Pty Ltd policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required
- Collaborating with our team of creative thinkers to innovate and enhance our products.
Experience Required
We are looking for Machinery Operators who have:
- Knowledge of Howick CNC machinery, although experience in other CNC machinery, manufacturing or construction machining will be considered
- Qualifications in Toolmaking, Machining, or Engineering would be advantageous
- Broad understanding of CNC machining & cutter technologies
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to safety procedures
