Currently, Rubix Solutions are seeking an experienced SAP Market Systems Functional Consultant to join our clients team to support and deliver on an exisiting SAP solution.
Role offered on a full-time permanent basis in Melbourne with an ASAP start! Offers ranging from a base of $140-$170k + super + performance bonuses.
Responsibilities- Experience of 7-8 years
- Thoroughly understand the various aspects of a BAU / Service Management process; understanding of IT Service Level Agreements.
- Conversant in working in Service Management Tool
- Good communication both verbal and written.
- Maintain and remediate functional data to ensure it retains a high standard of quality.
- Manage market reporting within the Market Systems, and reporting from external parties
- Ensure the delivery of market obligations as required by market participants and regulators
Required skills & knowledge
- Understanding of Market Systems (billing and metering) applications
- Understanding of business market obligations of Energy Distributors
- Familiarity with AEMO market procedures, rules, and operational processes specific to the National Electricity Market.
- Understanding of the National Electricity Rules governing the NEM.
- Experience working with Meter Data Management and Local Network Service Provider procedures.
- Exposure to the AEMO Data Portal and MSATS, including an understanding of market compliance reporting
- Familiarity with the energy retail market.
- Knowledge and experience with the Itron (IEE, MTS, FCS) and legacy CIS O/V products and related software, preferably with knowledge in interfacing applications such as SAP IS-U, webMethods, Oracle Fusion, and Control-M.
- Fluent with Oracle database programming - PL/SQL: Oracle Advanced Queue; Exposure to SQL performance tuning would be favourable.
- Exposure to common tools / scripting language for Unix: Bash /ksh, Perl
- Exposure to common tools and services in Windows Server, such as Powershell/IIS/.Net
- Extensive experience providing support for metering & billing applications in the Utilities industry.
- Previous experience working in electricity distribution will be highly regarded.
- ServiceNow experience for ITSM/Ops preferred.
