ABOUT THE ROLE
This position has been created as part of the Communications Team and will report to the Manager of Strategic Communications and Marketing. The role is being created to lead Marketing and Branding across the organisation, including the planning and development of new material, and supporting program teams with ad hoc design work that meets the high standard of the Wungening Brand.
The Communications Team is at a pivotal point at the time of advertising this position. It has been 2 years since the team was created, and it has taken shape with a broad remit over that time with the expectation to produce a high standard of work. There are currently significant demands on the team, given the growing nature of Wungening, with new programs and services coming on board in the next 12 months.
This position has been created to help expand the capability of the Communications Team to increase its ability to support the work of internal program teams, via the role specific key responsibilities outlined below. This role would ideally suit a flexible graphic designer, who is able to develop and produce marketing material and provide advice for program teams and key projects.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Graphic Design experience
- Marketing or advertising experience
- Experience in copy writing for marketing material
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite
- Able to work independently and autonomously to meet deadlines
- Able to be flexible in managing workloads
- A sound understanding of policy processes
Desirable
- Qualifications in Graphic Design, marketing, advertising or similar field
- Experience in working alongside Aboriginal People
- Campaign experience

- WA Drivers Licence
