Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) is a community of thirty-eight schools and colleges serving over 17,000 students, their families and over 2,400 employees across Tasmania.  Catholic Education Tasmania are now seeking applications for the role of Marketing and Communications Officer.

As we continue to grow and expand our reach, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Marketing and Communications Officer.
As Marketing and Communications Officer you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity and engaging with our audiences. From crafting compelling marketing materials to managing our social media presence, you will be at the forefront of our communications efforts.

As Marketing and Communications Officer, you will:

• Plan, execute, and oversee integrated Marketing and Communications campaigns, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement effective social media strategies, actively engage with the audience, and maintain a consistent and impactful organisational presence.
• Develop and enhance processes for campaign management, social media activities, and overall communication strategies, ensuring streamlined operations.
• Execute communication initiatives, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with organisational objectives.
• Maintain and distribute information via internal and external communications platforms including websites, intranets, social media, and e-news platforms.
• Produce Marketing and Communications collateral.
• Manage and maintain digital and physical assets.

Some of the skills and experiences we are looking for are:

• Certificate IV in Marketing/Public Relations/ Media/ Communications or equivalent.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to analyse, review and report on the effectiveness of the audience sentiment.
• The ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.
