The Queensland Academies (QA) Admissions Team, are based at the Queensland Academy for Science Mathematics & Technology, located within four kilometres of Brisbane City centre.
We are looking for a Marketing and Events Officer to deliver high level support by assisting with social media, communications to the QA Admissions community and coordinating various events. Attention to detail, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite are essential.
This role is offered on a temporary part-time basis, working 0.60 FTE and 43.5 hours per fortnight, until 21 June 2024 unless otherwise determined.

About the Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate special events including Open Days, Admissions Testing Days, and enrolment information, including consulting with key internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver creative strategies for these events.
- Coordinate the production of all publications and promotional material along with newsletters, and maintain content for the QA Admissions website to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
- Develop and maintain a proactive and consistent online and social media presence to promote the Academies and to communicate responsively with the wider community.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with staff and external clients to ensure the success of QA Marketing and Events, and the promotion of the Academies as a key priority.
- Assist in the development of promotional material, including marketing strategies and initiatives, and develop innovative marketing systems, processes and procedures.
