This is a newly created position for a Marketing Assistant ( someone straight out of university or with 1 to 2 years of working experience), who will assist the Marketing Lead. You will oversee general marketing duties as well as some graphic design aspects. You do not have to be an expert in graphic design but more have a familiarity with the language used.

Description
Reporting to the Marketing and Product lead, you will be responsible for predominantly looking after the company's main account of Bunnings.
Main responsibilities are (but are not limited to)
- Assisting with all-round generalist marketing duties
- Uploading product photos and product features and benefits to the Bunnings website.
- Organising product samples for product photographer
- Purchasing of product samples where needed
- Liaising with our various suppliers for point-of-sales material and packaging services
- Checking product packaging art proofs to ensure accuracy and detail
Profile
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (includes Photoshop, illustrator, and in-design).
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, often reactive environment is imperative
- A Bachelor Degree in marketing or similar field
- 1-2 years of junior marketing experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Experience/understanding of Pantone swatches
- Experience in WordPress (online website software) considered advantageous but not essential
- Microsoft Office suite experience (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, and Excel) - pivot tables and vlookups preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills - with both internal and external stakeholders
- Being a team player who can cross-collaborate well
- Any experience working with Bunnings would be highly advantageous
