Established in 2017, D&N is a growing specialist geotechnical and environmental consultancy with offices in Canberra, Sydney, and Brisbane. Our dedicated team of geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, and environmental scientists work on a diverse range of projects, catering to clients of varying scales across Australia.
This newly created position supports our business growth objectives and strategic goals. As the Marketing and Business Development Officer, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, coordinating Business Development plans, overseeing marketing initiatives, driving our rebranding strategy, and ensuring branding consistency across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Seek, identify, and pursue new and future Business Development opportunities
- Drive and coordinate our rebranding process.
- Manage social media channels and oversee content creation
- Lead website development and content creation.
- Creation of marketing materials.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives.
- Establish company templates and branding guidelines.
- Preparation of compelling company capability statements and employee CVs.
- Assist in coordinating Major Bids and Tenders.
- Manage client retention efforts.
- Oversee supplier relationship management.
About You:
This role operates independently within a small team, allowing for minimal supervision. The successful candidate must be comfortable with autonomy. We're seeking someone with the motivation and drive to provide proactive advice, recommendations, and innovative ideas to contribute to our organisation's growth plans.
- Relevant qualification in marketing, business, communications, or commerce.
- Previous experience in Business Development and Marketing, ideally within the construction, engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in designing software applications and MS Office suite.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- A proactive and resourceful self-starter, capable of taking initiative and working autonomously with minimal supervision to achieve objectives.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Possess strong communication skills, ensuring clear and timely communication with colleagues, management, and stakeholders.
This is a permanent full-time role, but we will also consider part-time hours (minimum 32 hours per week) for the right candidate.
