About the Role: As the Marketing Communications Advisor, you will drive internal and external marketing efforts, develop strategic campaigns and foster stakeholder engagement. Your responsibilities include strategy development, campaign coordination, and content creation to boost consumer purchases from market businesses.

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping MMA's narrative and enhancing its reputation within the industry, community, and beyond!

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Development:

• Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to increase market buyer numbers and support strategic objectives.
• Develop campaign plans for consumer based marketing programs, to drive sales to greengrocers and florists.
• Develop marketing and communication campaigns for an internal market audience to drive behaviour change.

Marketing Communications:

• Create marketing content for digital media, newsletters, and online platforms.

Brand Enhancement:

• Identify opportunities to enhance the Melbourne Market brand and ensure consistent application.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Provide exceptional customer service, building and maintaining effective business relationships.

Business Development:

• Promoting initiatives to drive new revenue streams and evaluate their effectiveness.

Safety:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, fostering a positive safety culture.

Education, Qualifications, and Experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• Minimum five years' experience in relevant roles within a commercial setting.
