About The Timothée Resort:
Western Australia’s newest Retro Resort, The Timothée Resort in Busselton offers guests an unforgettable getaway that is equal parts nostalgia and luxury.
With a bespoke design and retro charm, The Timothée Resort has 34 rooms, an outdoor heated pool, on-site restaurant, BBQ area at the river cottage, a tennis court, and the best part – the 2.5acres of resort backs on to the Vasse River.
Local husband and wife team Jamie & Alice Brady purchased the dated motel in 2022 and set to work refurbishing the place, with a clear vision to combine the luxury of a hotel with the social atmosphere often found at a caravan park. Sustainable tourism is also at the front of mind when making decisions.
About the role:
We are seeking a self-motivated, happy, and talented creative who will deliver and build on our marketing and customer experience strategy.
Reporting to owners Jamie and Alice, and working alongside our super friendly resort team, you will be responsible for all things social media, marketing, guest experience and communications. No day is the same!
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the customer experience and marketing strategy.
- Manage and create content for our social media accounts.
- Monitor and update our advertising channels and 3rd party booking platforms.
- Create and roll out advertising campaigns and specials.
- Create marketing material and write copy for media releases or online profiles.
- Contribute to design and styling of renovation projects.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with external agencies and business.
- Produce a highly engaging monthly electronic newsletter to our subscriber base.
Requirements:
- A passion for the tourism industry.
- Must have minimum 3+ years experience in a similar role.
- Proficient with social media platforms and experience with programs such as Adobe InDesign, Canva, Squarespace, Mail Chimp or similar.
- An understanding of the customer experience in a hospitality setting.
- Ability to work independently.
- High attention to detail.
- Skilled in writing, proof reading and editing.
- Gets on well in a team environment and has a positive and ‘can-do’ attitude.
