This business is about to embark on the beginning of serious growth! This company is an Australian wireless networking company focused to resolving connectivity challenges for farmers and other people in regional, rural and remote areas.
With a head office based in Wagga Wagga, this company is preparing for the imminent mass-market launch of a range of highly innovative products across connectivity solutions including location-aware smart antennas, solar-powered long-range Wi-Fi small cells and 4G/Wi-Fi hotspots for vehicles & machinery.
Currently this business employs over 30 staff and is backed by a considerable amount of government funding to develop their technology for both individuals and business based in regional towns.
The Role:
Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, this organisation is now seeking to employ a Marketing Manager to join their expanding team ahead of the mass market launch of products in the coming months. You will play a key hybrid role in both shaping the marketing strategy and campaign implementation across both ATL, BTL, digital marketing, content creation, brand campaigns and the coordination of trade events.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Marketing: Manage digital campaigns for increased brand visibility and lead generation.
- Content Creation: Lead content creation across various channels, ensuring relevance and consistency.
- Communications: Build relationships with media, influencers, and partners to enhance the brands market presence.
- Event Coordination: Plan and attend events showcasing the brands solutions.
- Strategy: Collaborate on and execute marketing strategies aligned with the company goals.
- Brand: Develop and maintain the brand for consistency across channels.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to inform marketing strategies.
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, journalism or equivalent.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in relevant marketing and communications roles
- Open to candidates who have experience working with rural consumers / companies and have B2B / B2C experience
- Proven proficiency with digital marketing tools.(Google Analytics, etc)
- Proven capability to implement marketing strategies effectively.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) is advantageous.
- A basic understanding of WordPress is desirable but not essential
