Join our team as our next Marketing Coordinator and embark on an exciting journey within our NZ Bank Partners team. This fixed-term opportunity offers a dynamic role where you'll collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager for Bank Partners, contributing to the successful execution of our marketing strategies.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing various marketing initiatives including various communications, digital campaigns, monitoring customer metrics and collateral development. Your responsibilities will entail fostering strong relationships with our bank partners, navigating through their diverse marketing ecosystems, and coordinating seamlessly with multiple agencies.
Your adeptness in budget management will be crucial, as you will contribute to resource management, working closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure effective budget utilization. Additionally, you'll be tasked with maintaining meticulous documentation, organizing meetings, and actively participating in collaborative sessions.
This position is being offered as a fixed term opportunity until December 2024 and is open to any IAG office locations in New Zealand, with a preference for Auckland or Wellington based.

We're seeking candidates with solid marketing experience to effectively liaise with our Creative Services studio, external agencies and coordinate briefs for bank agencies. Given our extensive work with various partners, familiarity with below-the-line programs and campaign dynamics is essential.
A strong grasp of campaign fundamentals is crucial, ensuring comprehension of strategic decisions and their impact on our initiatives.
Additionally, candidates should excel in relationship-building, demonstrating confidence and a proactive approach. The ability to drive momentum and prompt action from busy stakeholders is vital for success in this role. You’ll also demonstrate the following:
Insightful: Ability to deeply understand customers, competitors, and market to unlock opportunities.
Organizational skills: Can manage projects from start to finish.
Proven communication: Can convey the voice of the customer effectively to diverse audiences.
Collaborative: Works well with various stakeholders.
3+ years marketing or related experience
Tertiary qualification/s in Marketing, Communications, Business or related fields
