Marketing Coordinator
Based on the Sydney Campus
Full-time, Continuing role

  • $82,366 to $90,579 pa (Level 5) plus 13.75% superannuation
ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY

ABOUT THE ROLE
The National Marketing Office delivers high quality, insight-driven and evidence-based marketing strategies, and initiatives to support the University’s mission and objectives. The office collaborates with the Faculties, Schools and all Offices and Departments across the University to build and strengthen the University’s brand and reputation and to attract future students.
Reporting to the National Digital Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will provide support to the digital and content team and will be the first point of contact for all incoming requests and enquiries to the national marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate marketing projects with the national team to ensure targets are met and achieved.
  • Support the University’s organic social media strategy through content creation, inclusive of shooting, editing and posting branded content.
  • Build and maintain current marketing project and campaign schedules, calendars and timelines, inclusive of Undergraduate guides, discipline-based Post Graduate guides, International guides, advertising and marketing campaigns for Open Days, Early Offer Program, Semester 1 and Semester 2 intakes, school term dates and major events.
  • Communicate and work together with teams in the Prospective Student Office for campaign and product tracking.
  • Support with project reporting and metric evaluation.
  • Manage queries and requests received in the shared Marketing inbox and Wrike. Track tasks and ensure they are completed and closed.
  • Sustain good working relationships with suppliers and ensure procurement supplier requests are completed.
  • Reconcile marketing expenses, raise purchase orders and receipt invoices in PeopleSoft.
  • Process finance and procurement work requests, purchase orders invoices and manage the expenditure through budget tracker and provide updates to the team.
  • Provide and support with onsite assistance at University events as and when required including providing back fill for leave periods.
ABOUT YOU
  • Supportive of the Objects of Notre Dame as a Catholic University.
  • Recent graduate Marketing/PR/Communications/Business or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and training.
  • Experienced in the development of social media creation and distribution channels, (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Proficient in scheduling platforms and community management.
  • Ability to multi-task and accordingly manage time.
  • Hold good verbal and written skills communication skills with an ability to engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and proven attention to detail.
  • Proficient user in Microsoft Office 365 and application programs Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Sharepoint.
