The Role
The Marketing Data Analyst (MDA) will be working closely with members of the Technology and Insights team and the Experience team (Digital/Marketing/Comms). The successful candidate will have a strong passion for working with data and a great attention to detail. You will be willing to dive deep into large behavioural and transactional data sets, identify trends, and provide accurate reporting, with the aim of continuously improving the performance of marketing campaigns.
Key focus areas include:
- Extract mailing lists for various member and employer comms, including newsletters, webinars and campaigns.
- Conduct pre-campaign analysis to help identify the most relevant target groups for various marketing initiatives.
- Build, maintain and improve reporting dashboards.
- Conduct post-campaign analysis and derive learnings that will help reshape and improve the performance of future marketing initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy and quality of mailing extracts and reports.
- Foster and promote a positive culture and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Develop internal contacts and build a trusted network with NGS staff.
- Work as part of the Technology and Insights team to achieve the vision and goals of NGS Super and the tasks required above.
You have
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail and proven ability to deliver quality outcomes.
- Strong commitment to data accuracy, and proficiency in data preparation.
- Ability to effectively communicate, present and report analysis with actionable insights to a non-technical audience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Keen to learn and share knowledge with others.
- Empathy with the experience members have with NGS Super.
Desirable
- Prior experience with T-SQL and Microsoft PowerBI.
- Knowledge of the superannuation industry.
