About the role:
We are seeking a Marketing professional to join our team, you will play a crucial role in elevating our brand and engaging with our diverse audience.
You will plan and create meaningful and on-brand content, to grow and nurture the Rainbird community, strengthen brand presence in the market, and promote new products & collections.
You will attend business events and exhibitions alongside the sales team and forge relationships with clients, partners, and associations.
You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and for a period of 6 months you will be required to contribute to meeting additional marketing deadlines whilst covering a maternity leave position.
This is a part time ongoing role working in our Collingwood office ideally Tuesday and Thursday with the opportunity to work Wednesdays from home weekly.
Core responsibilities include:
- Design and deliver marketing content to an exceptional standard.Attend business conferences and exhibitions to promote our business.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and promotional activities.
- Copy writing skillset that captures the brand voice for blogs and EDM briefs as well as customer communication.
- Coordinating and directing photoshoots to showcase our products effectively.
- At all times act as an ambassador & role model for the businesses
- Local & interstate travel, as required
- Seek out new business development opportunities to facilitate growth
What you will bring:
- A university level degree in Marketing with Graphic Design experience
- Excellent computer skills, including MS PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Excel and Word
- Experience in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in social media management.
- Highly organised and detail oriented with the ability to work to deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written English.
- Ability to work as part of a team, in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with Marketing Platforms (eg Later, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Dropbox)
- Demonstrated ability to manage marketing activities and coordinate with external partners.
