About the position
This is the dream job for a marketer who loves a great product and who can understand and connect with the customer segments in the category. Reporting to the Head of Marketing for ANZ and part of a mid-sized team, this role will own the Social Media and Content strategies and manage the team to deliver commercial outcomes across the business. Your responsibilities will include;
- Increase sales and engagement across all social platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Insta, YouTube, Pinterest), including influencer and event outcomes;
- Manage, coach, and develop direct reports, providing regular performance and behavioural feedback to foster a high-performing, collaborative culture;
- Set ambitious KPIs for, and conduct ongoing evaluation of all Social Media activities to drive continuous improvement and improve investment efficiency;
- Lead and coach the Influencer Exec to and work with the eCommerce team to develop and execute an effective local influencer & events strategy;
- Collaborate with the Global team to inform the local strategy and share information on successful campaigns and input into the future direction of the brand;
- Provide input to annual strategic planning and quarterly financial forecast reviews and market business reviews - including recommendations on spend across all social areas and platforms;
- Manage reporting processes with global and 3rd party agencies, ensuring accurate and timely recording of activity and submission of results, insights and actions to key stakeholders; and
- Report on the effectiveness of activity across each platform and campaign and report on performance against KPIs for all social channels to celebrate success and provide recommendations for optimisation and improvement.
About you
This is a role for a talented Marketing Manager with a background in consumer Social Media strategy and management, content creation and optimisation across social platforms. To be considered, your background must meet the following requirements;
- Brisbane based, with the ability to work for most of the working week in the Brisbane CBD office (3 days in, 2 from home);
- Formal qualifications in Marketing, Business, Digital or similar;
- Previous experience (at least 4 years) performing in Social Media and Content roles, creating and delivering consumer content across Tik Tok, Facebook and Instagram;
- Previous experience in managing direct reports with a positive, collaborative leadership style;
- Deep understanding of all social platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, with proven results in increasing traffic, awareness, follower growth and engagement;
- Understanding of and previous exposure to influencer management and strategy;
- Deep understanding of the full marketing mix and the role social plays within own, earned and paid strategies;
- Hands on experience with various social and community management analytic tools with capability to provided thorough analysis on data; and
- Previous experience in managing content creation - pre, mid and postproduction.
