Lifeline has been operating in Tasmania since 1973, commencing as two chapters (Lifeline North West and Lifeline Hobart) which merged in 2012 to form Lifeline Tasmania.
Lifeline Tasmania is now a single organisation incorporated in Tasmania, with state-wide reach and community connections.

TheMarketing Officerwill be our guru for all things Marketing related to Lifeline Tasmania, with no day being the same as the one before.
This position is multi-faceted, and key to our organisation. Our new Marketing Officer will, amongst other things, be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining robust relationships and engagement between Lifeline Tasmania and the Tasmanian community and Key Stakeholders;
- Assisting in the implementation of the organisation’s Strategic Framework and Business Plan through the continued implementation of the overarching Marketing Strategy;
- In conjunction with the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, assisting with the coordination of events for Lifeline Tasmania in a manner which promotes and encourages participation from a range of stakeholders; and increases awareness of and generates increased support for our programs and services.
- Working with the CRM to ensure donor databases are consolidated and current;
- Conducting market research to identify consumer trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities, and leverage this data to refine marketing strategies.
- Maintaining the organisation’s Marketing and Events calendars
This part time position will be based in our Bellerive office.
About you

You prioritise on the fly and take pride in your ability to develop goals and plans, manage projects and implement strategy and initiatives. Crossing off items on your to do list is one of your favorite things to do, always meeting your goals, deadlines and objectives along the way.
Your amazing impersonal and liaison skills, both written and verbal, along with your proven capability in using a variety of marketing software will be key to your success in this position.
You work cohesively with colleagues across all levels, however you also appreciate the serenity of working solo.

The technical part…
To be considered for this opportunity you must hold Tertiary level qualifications in Marketing/Communications/Fundraising, or similar relevant discipline, or currently working towards this qualification.
You also must hold an unrestricted Tasmanian driver’s licence and hold, or be in the process of applying for, a current National Police/Criminal History Check and Registration to work with vulnerable people WWVP.
Experience working in the Not for Profit Sector would be considered favorably.
