About the Role
Joining our dynamic Marketing team, the Marketing Specialist will assist the Marketing Manager in the delivery of a program that aligns and supports the commercial strategy and delivers a broad range of marketing support for the Builders segment. This includes producing B2B material to support a large sales team, campaign development and implementation across a range of products and services both ATL and BTL.
This is a critical role that executes aspects of the marketing program that strengthen the Bunnings Trade brand positioning to retain and grow our Builders' customer base, across Australia.
This role requires the ability to write comprehensive advertising briefs, lead agency briefing sessions and work with cross functional teams to deliver a planned program of marketing activity against tight timeframes. Marketing activities of this role will be focused on the Whole of Build inclusive of Frame & Truss, Building Solutions Studios, Supply and Install offer.
What's involved
- Maintain marketing calendar activity and events for the Builders segment that supports their growth across key strategic pillars in conjunction with the commercial team
- Hold workshops with Builders team to work through marketing programs of activity and ensure alignment across the different functions
- Create effective marketing collateral and sales enablement packs to ensure Account Managers and Business Development Managers have the info required to sell the Builders offer to key and new customers
- Support as required for production of reports, presentations, and marketing materials
- Collaborate with the digital team to ensure the website contains all material relevant to Builders customers
- Assist the content team in developing and delivering relevant content strategies to drive engagement and build brand connection with key suppliers, customers and partners
- Work with the media team on paid activity including LinkedIn, OOH, print publications and more

You'll need
- Three+ years' experience in marketing or a related business unit role.
- Preferably B2B marketing, sales or operational experience in the retail on construction sector
- Degree in Marketing, Business Development or relevant studies at Tertiary Level
