The role
The Marketing Specialist will elevate the ACIL Allen brand with a tactic and dedicated approach to our marketing activities. The role requires you to uphold our brand values and build strong relationships at various levels, both internally and externally.
You’ll have an innovative mindset, a curiosity for unpacking data and translating complex concepts into accessible content, and a practical but approachable communication style. You’ll ideally be a self-starter with strong self- and time-management skills and an energetic, optimistic outlook. You’ll bring a dynamic, agile work style to the position, able to think and work differently to reach desired outcomes.
The role requires a level of common sense, maturity, an ability to engage in direct conversations about complex and challenging issues, and persistence when it comes to finding clarity. You should feel confident asking for guidance and support and asking hard questions when needed.
How you’ll make an impact
- Elevate the ACIL Allen brand through consistent and considered marketing activities, ensuring alignment with our brand strategy and identity.
- Implement marketing objectives, both strategic and tactical, in collaboration with the Executive Director and our external agency.
- Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring outputs are on track, on-brand, on-brief and on-budget, and produce reports as required.
- Coordinate, manage and champion internal communications and external agencies.
- Generate content that services the broader marketing and content needs of the organisation.
- Contribute to role advertising, ensuring our brand message is communicated.
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or similar field
- 4+ years experience in marketing, with at least 1-2 years in a B2B / professional services environment
- A thorough understanding of B2B / professional services marketing and communications [essential]
- Brand management, marketing, and content creation experience
- Data fluency and in-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, SEO, SEM, and analytics and reporting tools
- Strong command of the English language and communications principles, with advanced, nuanced literacy skills
- Experienced and comfortable working autonomously and cross-functionally, with the ability to take ownership of the role
