Our client is located in Moorabbin is seeking an experienced Materials Planner to commence in March.

Description
The basic objective of this position will be to work with the Supply Chain and cross-functional teams to ensure that the businesses needs are met from a materials planning and purchasing perspective.
Material planning and purchasing of inventory and non-inventory items for a number of manufacturing sites
Works with suppliers to the business the resolve any issues and to continuously improve our supplier relationships.
Becomes involved in continuous improvement projects as required.
Financial reporting of purchasing associated with inventory.
Profile

• Purchasing / planning experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Advanced technical, problem solving and decision making skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Interpersonal and communication skills required and the ability to manage conflict is vital
• PC and system base knowledge of high standard
• Microsoft suite of software
• B2B exposure
