The Role
We have a permanent opportunity for a Materials Planner to join the team, this role is to support the Supply Chain through execution of the materials planning strategy and ensure consistency in process and approach.
Reporting to the Senior Materials Planner, this role is responsible for ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time.
Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day relationships with our sites and suppliers
- Identifying and implementing value creation and cost avoidance opportunities
- Managing inventory holdings based on sound understanding of production requirements, contractual obligations, and available warehouse space
- Ensuring the successful delivery of production plan via replenishment of ingredients and packaging materials
- Support the daily and weekly IBP processes
About you
- Demonstrated experience within FMCG
- Experience in planning, materials planning, procurement or strategic sourcing and replenishment roles
- In depth capability and experience with ERP, planning, and replenishment systems. Preferred experience in SAP
- Demonstrated ability to work and make decisions in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders both verbally and in written form
