On behalf of our client, Chevron Australia, a World Leading Integrated Energy Company, Brunel is currently sourcing a Material Coordinator for a 2-year contract located at their ‘start of the art’ Perth CBD office. This position provides an opportunity to be involved in one of the world’s largest operating CCSU (Carbon Capture Utilisation & Storage) projects.
An insight to your responsibilities will include:
- Materials Management (MM) activities to execute the project material management process and procedures utilising base business tools and resources
- Support the delivery of Phase 4 Project Material Management deliverables
- Interface with the Client and Procurement Teams to ensure maximising of Company catalogued materials and tracking of materials
- Material status reporting using existing tools and resources
- Maintain Project freight forecast and ABU SCM freight forecast
- Engage and set clear expectations contractors to validate accurate materials and equipment lists.Identify storage requirements for Company Procured Materials
- Engage and set clear expectations with contractors to ensure appropriate material storage and preservation facilities are in place
Engage and align with:
- Project Logistics Coordinator to understand project materials movement schedules
- ABU SCM Supply Base Team to affect the safe movement and storage of materials
- Project Delivery Teams and support functions to confirm materials, quantities and schedules for movement of Project materials
- Data analytics using MS Excel and Power BI
- Ability to develop Power BI reporting to support freight forecasts and materials management
- Knowledge of ABU Materials Management tool – JD Edwards (JDE) and procedures
- Experience in storage and preservation of materials and materials receipting process
- Experience in disposal of surplus materials
- Broad understanding of logistical and materials planning processes
- Ability to work closely with procurement and logistics functions in execution of end-to-end Supply Chains
