An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, proactive and outcome focused Supply Chain Coordinator to join Material Planning Team here at PACCAR Australia.
The position of Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for expediting and coordinating the supply of parts initially not available for fitment, for trucks. The Supply Chain Coordinator will ensure all necessary rework is completed and shipment is coordinated and recorded for back fitment to the relevant dealership.
- Coordinate any required rework of late parts in the plant (e.g. painting chassis specific colours) before they are shipped to dealers
- Work with Suppliers, Sales, and Materials to coordinate the shipment of parts to dealers, book transport as required
- Excellent analytical skills to investigate problems and apply a systematic approach in fact finding
- Strong PC skills and JDE manufacturing system knowledge a definite advantage
- Prior experience in a Supply Chain role highly desirable
