Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Ampol to deliver leading maintenance services to their Lytton site.
We are currently seeking a Materials Officer to support our Warehouse team. The role will be casual initially, with the potential to become permanent.
The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for the coordination of all stores-based materials, plant, consumables, tools, and equipment for the Ampol Lytton Refinery, including receipt, dispatch, picking, packing and preservation activities.
At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region, in place.
Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries into bulk storage yard and facilities,
- Enter receipt of deliveries into SAP Materials Management System in line with procedures,
- All Material Rejection Advice (MRA) are completed in real time and followed through as necessary,
- All receipted goods, including dangerous and hazardous materials, are stowed in allocated areas in accordance with legislative requirements,
- Ensure all items are packaged following correct preservation procedure SAP number written on item prior to storage,
- Gas and chemical bund checks are completed weekly,
- Compliance to both Ampol and Wood plc Risk Management, Quality Assurance and Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures.
Skills/Qualifications
- You must have a Forklift High-Risk Licence,
- Background within mechanical or electrical fields, working with or interpreting parts and materials,
- Knowledge of dangerous goods handling, storage and preservation and legislative requirements would be beneficial,
- Basic PC skills is essential. Knowledge of basic SAP will be very advantageous.
