An experienced and talented midwife with management and leadership experience is sought to join BRHS as the Maternity Unit Manager. It is essential for the incumbent to be a clinical resource outside the MUM role, the opportunity to increase working hours in the midwifery role is available.
BRHS provides maternity services to women who are considered low to medium risk throughout the birthing continuum, in collaboration with other health care providers, particularly GP Obstetricians. The Unit recently renewed the "Baby Friendly Initiative" which BRHS has held since 1999, demonstrating our commitment to evidence-based, best-practice and providing the highest standard of maternity care to mothers and babies.
Join our highly experienced senior management team and with support from our Associate Maternity Unit Manager, Clinical Midwifery Consultant and Midwifery Educator, lead our dedicated team of midwifery professionals who proudly contribute to welcoming more than 340 babies into the community each year!

Minimum role criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration as Registered Midwife
- Minimum 5-year midwifery experience with previous experience in a clinical leadership position
- Demonstrated leadership and management competence with the proven ability to manage day-to-day operations and oversee the effective planning and delivery of the service's business plan
