About the Maths & Science Teacher Position
The Maths & Science Teacher position available is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to start in Term 2. This permanent, full-time role focuses on teaching junior year groups, where your passion and expertise can truly make a difference. They are searching for a candidate who is not only strong in their subject knowledge but also deeply passionate about teaching, capable of engaging students with varying abilities and igniting their curiosity and desire to learn. The ideal teacher will create a nurturing and inclusive environment, inspiring students to explore the wonders of Maths and Science.
Skills & Requirements:
- Subject Expertise in both Mathematics and Science, ensuring complex concepts are conveyed in an understandable and engaging manner to students.
- Student Engagement with the ability to capture the interest of students of varying abilities, promoting active learning and participation.
- Curriculum Development skills, including the ability to design and implement innovative and effective teaching strategies tailored to junior year groups.
- Classroom Management proficiency, maintaining a positive and focused learning environment while addressing diverse needs and learning styles.
- Communication and Collaboration, fostering strong relationships with students, colleagues, and the school community, and effectively communicating educational concepts and progress.
- NESA registration or eligibility to obtain
- At least 2 references from your most recent employers
