Job description

As leaders in Traffic Safety & Control, Traffic Werx have fully trained, accredited traffic controllers for a wide range of works throughout the Northern Territory. Established in Darwin in 2010, our locally owned and operated, CAL-accredited business has gone from strength to strength. We’ve developed a reputation for delivering excellent traffic management solutions for events, construction sites, night works and more. We also provide detailed custom traffic management plans, traffic guidance schemes, equipment hire and permit applications for all works.
Traffic Werx is now looking for a Fulltime Mechanic, Clerk and Project Administrator.
Mechanic:
Job Responsibilities:
• Building and assembling machines or mechanical components according to requirements
• Inspecting machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
• Conducting repairs aiming for maximum reliability
Job Description:
• Inspect vehicle engines
• Inspect mechanical and electrical components
• Diagnose issues timely and accurately
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems
• Conduct regular maintenance work such as replacing fluids, lubricating parts
• Schedule future maintenance sessions
• Advise motorists on good vehicle use
• Offer our products and services
• Build relationships with clients
• Act as an advisor and give useful advice for car maintenance
• Bill services
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
Skills and experience required:
1. Hold a recognized trade qualification as a motor mechanic
2. 3+ years relevant experience
3. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
4. Diagnostic and trouble shooting skills.
5. Current Australian driver’s license.
Salary: 63093.68 AUD per annum

Clerk:
Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain filing, database systems, and inventories.
• Operate office equipment such as photocopiers and fax machines.
• Communicate with clients and employees, and respond to any queries or complaints.
• Sort and forward incoming mail and emails, and prepare and send outgoing mail.
Job Description:
• Recording, preparing, sorting, classifying and filing information
• Sorting, opening and sending mail
• Photocopying and faxing documents
• Preparing reports of a routine nature
• Recording issue of equipment to staff
• Receiving letters and telephone messages
• Transcribing information onto computers, and proofreading and correcting copy
• May provide clients with information about services
• May perform receptionist duties
Skills and experience required:
1. Intermediate Microsoft Office suite experience
2. 3+ years relevant experience
3. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
4. Have great organizational and time management skills
Salary: 60327.28AUD per annum

Project Administrator:
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinating project activities, including simple tasks and larger plans. Managing schedules, arrange regular on-site meetings and communicate progress to all team members. Responsibilities include preparing action plans, analysing risks and opportunities and gathering necessary resources. Rebecca works with a team of Project Managers and contracts administrator, so good communication and collaboration skills are essential. Ultimately, the Project Administrator ensures our projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
Job Description:
• Schedule regular meetings and record decisions (e.g. meeting with client and team on site to ensure project running smoothly and advise if any changes are required)
• Conduct risk analyses (e.g. conducting a risk analyses on site and ensuring the team are set up as per AS 1742.3 2019)  
• Break projects into doable tasks and set timeframes and goals (e.g. reviewing a contract and ensuring timeframes are adhered to. For example, allowing enough time when scheduling staff to set up signs up devices)
• Create and update workflows
• Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Order resources, signs, and equipment / delineation
• Track expenses and predict future costs
• Monitor project progress and address potential issues
• Coordinate quality controls to ensure deliverables meet requirements
• Measure and report on project performance
• Act as the point of contact for all participants
• Assisting with stakeholders’ engagement, conflict resolution, crisis and risk management on an as-needed basis.
• Arranging and coordinating travel, training, medicals, and accommodation
Skills and experience required:
• Relevant diploma or higher and one year of full-time work experience 
or
• three years of full-time work experience
Salary: 56,296.24 AUD per annum
